Hiking on Bukit Timah

Yesterday, some Sec 2 and Sec 3 went Bukit Timah training for Malaysia Expedition. The Expedition is from 8 to 10 Aug. We have to hike at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve with 4 1.5 litre which is 6 kg of load. We have to gather at Meridian Junior Collage before going. The hike start after we have done some exercise at the bottom of the Hill. But first, we took the short route up the summit. Next, we took the longer route up. We end the hike at 6.30, my group's bus came late at 7. We reach MJC around 7.40, have to debrief before we can be dismiss.

The first route up is hard. But taking the longer route is harder. It is more rocky, hard to climb. Many steps to go, we have to walk up and down the many steps there. Quite tired... But we still made it up the Hill. Zuhaili, one of the NPCC member said Malaysia Expedition is harder, 5 times harder. SO WE HAVE TO TRAIN HARD!!

Good Luck to all Cadets from NPCC on their Expedition in Malaysia. Happy National Day then!
